LAB POLICY
• Only 3 makeups are allowed.
• All makeups must be submitted by the
announced deadline—no exceptions.
• The result of missing and then
failing to make up a lab is a five (5)
point deduction from the final English
1301 course average.
For example, if a student finishes the
course with an average of 88, but fails
to make up two labs, the final grade for
the course would reduce to a 78,
dropping the grade from a B to a C.
• The Lab Project cannot be made up.
ASSISTANCE
• A lab orientation is given by the
Dual Credit Lab Coordinator at the
beginning of the semester at each
high school campus.
• Lab Instructors are available during
office hours and via email.
• The College provides WebCT
assistance via the HelpDesk at
(361)698-2330.
