eClinicalWorks Announces 2000 Providers Live in
New York City
In 2.5 Years, 2000 Providers Across 400 Practices Have Implemented eClinicalWorks EMR/PM

NEW YORK--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--During the past 2.5 years, eClinicalWorks®, a market leader in
ambulatory clinical systems, has implemented 2000 providers across 400 independent practices in New York City,
including small physician practices, hospital networks and 23 Community Health Centers. There are an additional
600 providers and 100 practices currently in implementation.
Providers in New York City that have implemented eClinicalWorks EMR/PM are streamlining operations, while
improving the quality of care. Additionally, these practices are equipped with e-prescribing, lab interfaces, the ability
to report on quality measures, utilize clinical decision support and will soon be able to connect to city and state-wide
RHIOs.
Today also marks the kick off of eClinicalWorks 2010 Northeast Regional Users’ Group meeting at the New York
Marriott in Brooklyn, New York. The sold out group, running today and tomorrow, brings together approximately
800 medical professionals and will feature initiatives in the Northeast.
Conference and regional highlights include:
l Welcome Address from Amanda Parsons, MD, MBA, Acting Assistant Commissioner, Primary Care
Information Project, New York City;
l Presentations given by customers discussing successful electronic medical records projects and lessons
learned, as well as by eClinicalWorks’ product specialists;
l eClinicalWorks recently expanded its New York City office, which now employs 40 people; and
l There are 15 projects of various sizes currently being managed by the New York City office, including the
New York City’s Primary Care Information Project, Continuum Health Partners and Stamford Hospital.
