Organophosphorus

pesticides
inhibit
cholinesterase from different origins. The present study has as aim to
characterise the kinetic of acetylcholinesterase catalysed reaction from
Electric eel, using Ellman method. The experimental studies permit the
calculation of remanent enzymatic activity of this enzyme in presence of
azinphos methyl oxon, an organophosphorus pesticide with a wide-large
use in Romania, and also in other countries.
