Directions to Bates Farm:
From Knoxville, take Tazwell Pike to Union County line. (Watch for county line sign.) At
Union County line, turn right onto Jim Wolfe Rd and go approximately 1/4 mile. Watch for
District Camporee sign directing toward parking area.
From Powell or Halls Crossroads, take Emory Road (SR-131) to intersection with Tazwell Pike
and turn left (continuing on SR-131). Travel approximately 4 miles to Jim Wolfe Road at Union
County line. Turn right on Jim Wolfe Road and go approximately 1/4 mile. Watch for District
Camporee sign directing toward parking area.
