Update your computer skills – short-term training
Computer Skills Training hourly classes are designed for those people who want to quickly update their computer skills for
re-entry into the work force or to update their current skills for their current job, or are new to computers and want to
receive hands-on training in a personalized environment.
These Computer Skills Training classes are offered throughout the year (see current class schedule on back side):
Introduction to Computers
• Keyboarding Skills
• MS Explorer (Internet)
• Microsoft Word – Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
• Microsoft Excel – Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
• Microsoft Access – Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
• Microsoft PowerPoint
The Computer Skills Training classes are held in the Computer Skills Training classroom and lab, located in Room 3205.
A lab assistant is available to help students with questions on homework assignments (during scheduled lab hours).
Cost per Class
includes 5 hours of classroom instruction
15 hours of independent computer lab practice recommended
*These classes are not Financial Aid eligible. Tuition rate is subject to change.

8:00am – 1:00pm
Open Lab: Room 3205 – Computer Skills Training Lab
Monday: 1:00pm – 4:00pm; Tuesday – Thursday, 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
FREE parking in the Visitor Lot on Marshall Avenue - all other lots are Permit Parking only,
and are ticket/tow zones.
Parking tokens are given at the end of each class and lab session.
Completion Certificate of Completion given for each course completed. Certificates mailed out at end of each month.
