Cutting Edge Surgery Center to Bring a New Standard of Care to Area Patients
COSTA MESA, Calif., Feb. 24 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) -- Renaissance Surgical Arts at Newport Harbor
announced today it is entering its final phase of construction and near completion. The center will be a Medicare and
Joint Commission accredited Ambulatory Surgical Facility and is expected to open in Spring 2009.
The professionally managed, but majority physician-owned facility will represent a new standard of care. Providing
the most advanced infection control systems and surgical equipment, Renaissance at Newport Harbor marries
cutting edge technology with industry leading aesthetics and efficiencies to positively influence patient outcomes.
"Renaissance at Newport Harbor will fill a niche that has been left open for too long," said Gary Reiter, M.D., a
longtime Newport Beach ophthalmologist. "The patient will be pampered in ways that even Newport Beach patients
have not experienced before. It will provide surgeons an environment utilizing best-of-class technology and
efficiencies. But perhaps best of all, it will provide an unparalleled level of infection control that will set the standard
for the medical community."
Located within the Pacific Medical Plaza building at 1640 Newport Blvd. near the intersection of Newport Blvd. and
Seventeenth Street, Renaissance at Newport Harbor is a 20,000-plus square foot outpatient facility. As anchor
tenant of the property, the center encompasses the entire first floor.
Eight Operating Rooms are designed to revolve around the needs of Physician Investors. Each O.R. features hand-
picked technology chosen by the Surgeon Members to deliver the highest standard of clinical efficiencies in an
aesthetic that demonstrates their commitment to patient care. A
