Di Saronno Amaretto
1 c water
1 c granulated sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
2 c 80-proof vodka
2 T almond extract
2 t vanilla
1. Combine water and sugars in a saucepan over medium heat.
2. Heat until boiling, and all sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let
mixture cool for about 10 minutes.
3. Add vodka, almond extract and vanilla. Store in a sealed bottle.
Makes 3 cups.
