Elite Software Training Location
Tradewinds is very excited to announce that the Elite Software Training
will be held in the Seminar Barn at Brazos de Dios.
This unique facility has much to offer. The comfortable seminar room is
located in a refurbished building, which was built about 1750 in the
Schoharie Valley of New York state.
Brazos de Dios is the home of Homestead Craft Village, located a few
miles north of Waco. The Seminar Barn is centered in a model homestead and is one of several historic
buildings that have been rescued from destruction in their original settings in the Northeastern United States
and moved to Waco and restored.
Directly across the road is the Homestead Gristmill. This beautiful structure, built
around 1760, comes from the hilly area of northwestern New Jersey that was settled
by German Moravians and is known as the Long Valley. This mill is once again
grinding grain using a water wheel. Fresh flour and mixes are made here daily.
A short walk away from the seminar facility is the Homestead Deli & Bakery, which
serves fresh-squeezed lemonade, homemade soups, sandwiches on bread made fresh
daily in the bakery, brisket and hamburgers made with all-natural grass-fed beef,
pastries, pies and ice cream. This is where the meals for the training will be served.
There is not enough space here to give details about all the buildings and workshops at Brazos de Dios. The
craft village is so interesting that often students will bring their wives along and let them explore the property
while the class is in session. We believe that you will enjoy your time at Brazos de Dios and we are pleased
to offer this location for the training (for more information, see: www.homesteadheritage.com).
