Training Camp for Students Interested in Career in Sports

development, announces plans for the inaugural Diamond Sports Big Apple Career Week, July 25-30 in New
York, the “sports business capital of the world”.
The Diamond Sports Big Apple Career Week offers students an opportunity to meet and learn from sports
executives and rising stars leading their fields, at many of the most famous sports venues in the world, including
Yankee Stadium, Citi Field, Madison Square Garden, Red Bull Arena, and MLB Studios. Events will also be
offered at Chelsea Piers, the Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center, Fordham University and NYU. Featured
speakers scheduled to appear include Ross Greenburg, President of HBO Sports; Bill Squadron, General Manager
of Bloomberg Sports; Chris LaPlaca, Senior Vice President of Communications at ESPN; Doug Perlman, CEO of
Sports Media Advisors, Vanessa Adams, President, Women in Sports, New York Chapter; Rick Cerrone, media
consultant, and former Senior Director of Media Relations for the New York Yankees; Brian Crowell, NBC PGA
golf analyst and club pro; Chris Carlin, SNY sports media personality, Ryan Ruocco, ESPN Radio 1050, and Art
