Assura triumphant in Crewe's Mayoral Oscars
Assura is pleased to announce that one of its newest and most innovative primary care
buildings, the Eagle Bridge Health and Wellbeing Centre, has won the 'Best Building
Design of the Year' award in Crewe's annual local Mayor's Oscars ceremony.
The Mayor's Oscars is an annual event in which the Mayor of Crewe, Councillor Maurice
Jones, who officially opened the Eagle Bridge only last month, recognises nominees for
their contribution to the life of the borough of Crewe and Nantwich.
Commenting on the award, Andrew Darke, regional director of Assura Property said:
"This is one of Assura’s flagship schemes and we are extremely pleased to have
received this prestigious award. We worked closely from the outset with the doctors to
design a building which provides the best environment for patients and staff.
"Eagle Bridge is a superb example of how a complex development can be delivered not
