ERI Announces Dates, Location for 2010 California Employment Law Update
Conference
Expert speakers to offer practical tips for dealing with changes to California and Federal
Employment Legislation.
Alameda, CA (Vocus) May 17, 2010 — The Employer Resource Institute (ERI) is pleased to announce that the
fifth-annual California Employment Law Update conference will take place at San Francisco’s Westin St. Francis
on Nov. 10-12, 2010.
Conference attendees will receive updates from a slate of expert speakers on new California and federal
legislation, regulations, and court cases, as well as practical tips for dealing with these changes and reducing
litigation risks. Attendees will also have the opportunity to sign up for optional, interactive pre- and
post-conference workshops.
“Although the economy is on an upswing, 2010 is already shaping up to be a year full of new laws and new
challenges at both the state and federal level,” says Matthew T. Humphrey, President of ERI. “For example, the
U.S. Supreme Court is currently reviewing a text-messaging case that could have broad implications for
employers, and healthcare reform could change employers’ obligations in a number of significant ways.”
Attendees can currently sign up for the conference for a limited-time early-bird rate until May 31. For more
