Citizens Financial Group appoints Rod Rivera
Managing Director of For-Profit Healthcare
Twenty-year investment banker leading CFG ’s health-care practice

PROVIDENCE, R.I.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Citizens Financial Group today announced the appointment
of Rod Rivera to Managing Director of its For-Profit Healthcare Banking division, dedicated to serving customers
with annual revenues up to $2 billion.

Based in Stamford, CT, Rivera oversees the full delivery of the CFG’s banking products and services to health-care
companies. He is responsible for growing CFG’s capital markets and advisory services, as well as the health-care
lending practice and commercial banking products.
Rivera has 20 years banking experience, including various senior positions focused on health-care investment
banking, leveraged finance, and sponsor relationships. Prior to joining Citizens, he most recently served as Senior
Managing Director, Head of Healthcare at Dresner Partners, a M&A boutique. Prior to Dresner, he was a
Managing Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking unit of Jefferies & Company and, before joining Jefferies,
he was a Managing Director at CIBC World Markets and Credit Suisse First Boston Corporation in New York
Before starting his career at Citicorp Securities Markets, Inc., Rivera served in the United State Navy for eight
years. He was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for outstanding leadership and performance as a Naval Flight
