Cursul se adresează studenţilor din anul II, specializarea Administraţie
Publică, care au structurile gramaticale de bază, si posedă ca instrument
de lucru un vocabular extins pentru a putea realiza comunicarea în limba
engleză la nivel mediu.
Cursul are ca scop revizuirea structurilor gramaticale şi familiarizarea
studenţilor cu limbajul afacerilor. Sunt abordate următoarele teme:
întâlnirea de afaceri, cariera si locul de muncă, problema banilor. Fiecare
unitate de curs cuprinde o secţiune de redactare a unor scrisori de afaceri
cu terminologia aferentă.
La curs se va aplica metoda interactivă de predare, studenţii fiind încurajaţi
să participe la discuţii.

EMPLOYMENT

INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS: the dealings and relationships between the
management and the workforce over business, particularly one where
trade unions are present and collective bargaining is accepted, also
known as labour or employee relations.
WORKFORCE may be viewed as a percentage of the whole population,
but can also mean the total number of employees of a single company,
corporation, etc. LABOUR FORCE
includes all persons who are
employed, unemployed or seeking employment.
UNEMPLOYMENT is the existence of a section of the labour force able
and willing to work, but unable to find employment. It is measured as the
percentage of the total labour force out of work.
EMPLOYER: A person or firm having control over the employment of
workers and the payment of their wages.
EMPLOYEE: A person working in an industry or enterprise who is entitled
to wages for labour or services performed. People holding managerial
positions are not included.
BLUE-COLLAR WORKERS: Term used to describe manual workers, i.e.
production and main
