WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Now in its 13th year, BioFlorida’s Annual
Conference is recognized as a must-attend event for business and scientific leaders from across the state and
beyond. More than 400 guests are expected at this year’s conference, October 24 – 26 at the Marriott Harbor
Beach in Ft. Lauderdale, and more than 50 speakers will share their insights on the latest trends and issues in
biomedical research and bioscience business. This year’s conference will also feature dedicated bioscience company
presentations, investor panels and interactive workshops.
“This premier gathering in the state for life science leaders creates future opportunities through its offerings to learn,
network and do business,” said Cynthia Collins, conference co-chair and Group Vice President, Cellular Analysis
Business Group for Beckman Coulter, Inc.
One of the main advantages of the BioFlorida conference is that its programs and presentations are divided into three
tracks, allowing attendees to focus on the most relevant content. This year’s breakout session tracks are:

Eradicate Disease) as their Annual Summit, these panels and discussions focus on the latest advancements in
research from Florida universities, institutes and companies.
BioBusiness: Explores opportunities for investment, collaboration and partnerships, including two panels of venture
capitalists and business development executives discussing their interests, expectations and trends in the industry.
Professional Development: Designed to assist attendees with the growth of their business and careers, including
presentations on grant programs, incentives and financing, state and federal policies, and education and workforce
