Columbus, Ohio Division of Fire selects
Emergency Technologies’ Visual Fire Software

RALEIGH, N.C.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--The city of Columbus, Ohio will deploy Emergency
Technologies, Inc. (ETI) Visual Fire, a Fire Records Management System (Fire RMS), to provide responders with
access to critical data for promoting the safety of fire personnel and the citizens they protect.
ETI was selected through its strategic business partner, Intergraph Corp., the leading global provider of public safety
and security incident management software that facilitates faster emergency response and interoperability between
agencies and jurisdictions to save lives and protect property.
ETI will implement Visual Fire later this year as part of a comprehensive public safety software modernization effort
led by Intergraph.
The Visual Fire solution is a suite of modules that includes fire incident reporting, EMS patient care reporting, mobile
field reporting, training and certification records, hydrant information and structural pre-plans, along with several
additional modules that will provide the Columbus Division of Fire with modern technology to increase operational
efficiency throughout the organization. The ETI solution will also seamlessly integrate with Intergraph’s Computer-
aided Dispatch (CAD) system which is currently undergoing implementation at the Columbus Department of Public
Safety Communications Center, as well as the Columbus Division of Police and Division of Fire and EMS personnel.
