The Government’s Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) is determined to reduce the
harms associated with drinking too much alcohol. In order to do this, it is keen to understand what
parents and carers, young people and others in the community think about alcohol and what
information they would find useful to make an informed decision about drinking behaviour.
This pack is for anyone who is interested in contributing their views and opinions about young people
and alcohol. It contains useful facts and ideas to help stimulate a discussion on the issue and guidance
on how to capture and feedback on what is said. All opinions received by the Government will be used
to help shape its response to this issue.
