CashSender Becomes Every Small Merchants Payment Pal Slashing High
Industry Fees For Online Payments
Firm Charges a 2.9 Percent Flat Fee Per Payment Received With No Minimum Charge
Vancouver, Canada (PRWEB) April 27, 2010 -- Small businesses have a new low cost pal to handle online
payments for their products and services. CashSender.com announced today a new person-to-person online
payment service designed to slash exorbitant e-commerce money transfer fees to as low as pennies per
transaction.
“The competition simply charges small online sellers far too much in fees to handle low dollar transactions,” said
Henry Tenby with CashSender.com. “We’re cutting fees to spur the growth of online commerce while offering
better service and advanced security features.”
CashSender.com will simply charge an industry standard 2.9 percent transaction fee for all payments received.
Unlike other services, there’s no added fixed price fee on top of the percentage fee. “Payment receivers will save
30 to 40 cents per transaction using CashSender” according to Tenby. “Factored over hundreds or thousands of
transactions, the savings becomes substantial.”
The new service is also eliminating high fees related to cross border payments; business account status; use by
international residents, and use of foreign currency. All CashSender members (personal and business use) in all
countries pay the same 2.9% flat rate. There’s no cost to use the service for payment senders.
CashSender does not allow credit card payments. This saves merchants the headaches of charge-backs, pending
payments, and reserves.
“The ultimate result is we only charge pennies per transaction compared with the competition,” Tenby said.
“How big of a pal are they when they charge so much more to handle the same transactions.”
“With the United States economy struggling, we really wanted to do everything possible to help small business
grow by lowering their costs,” Tenby said. “After all, small business is the engine of growth and employment in
