experiences of Chinese physicians
dating back five millennia.
Join Ms Mary Cheng and Mr Kim Wu
who have a wealth of knowledge about Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Ms Cheng has more than 30 years experience both in Canada and Hong
Kong as a registered pharmacist and Chinese medicine specialist. She is
currently Senior Manager - Quality Assurance / Pharmacist with Eu Yan
Sang (Hong Kong) Ltd. Mr Wu is a chemist and holds a Masters Degree
in Biotechnology. He is Senior Manager of Eu Yan Sang (Hong Kong) Ltd
responsible for the factory operations.
Participants will be able to gain
some basic knowledge about
Traditional Chinese Medicine
such as the concept of yin and
yang and the purposes of some
widely used herbal medicines.
The modern scientific techniques
for the identification and quality
control of Chinese medicines will
be explained.
