PRESS RELEASE
Solar company ClimateWell in Italy and Australia
Stockholm, April
22nd
, 2009
– The Solar Cooling company, ClimateWell from Stockholm
Sweden, has signed two contracts with a total value of some 4 million Euros. These are orders
for the company's solar-powered air conditioning machine and come from customers in Italy and
Australia.
ClimateWell continues to successfully export its solar-powered air conditioning machine.
Formerly, the company was primarily selling in Spain, but is now selling to an increasing
number of markets.
"It is very gratifying to see that interest in our products continues to increase. Earlier, we have
only focused on Spain, but with these two orders, we established new markets” says Johan
Larsson, the company's international sales manager.
In Italy, interest in the solar system has increased dramatically in recent years thanks to tax
credits for solar energy. ClimateWells products fit well because they make it possible to exploit
the sun's heat even in summer.
In Australia is expensive to build networks because of the great distances. Hence there is a large
need for decentralized solar solutions and that is where ClimateWell’s products fit in.
"Despite the slow business cycle, ClimateWell continues to grow and it is clear that renewable
energy and energy-efficient buildings have a bright future.” says Per Olofsson, ClimateWell’s
CEO
Together the two agreements are worth some 4 million Euros.
