Even on the STD mode (eco), the projector is seriously bright. You really don't need lights On in a dark
room while watching a movie. Only negative is you do see the rainbow effect during dark backgrounds,
could be my eyes, but I wasn't expecting to see rainbow on a 3D ready projector with 120Hz capability.
Not so much to be a deal breaker thou.
The details on the video are pretty good and you really get the feeling of sitting in a movie theater. I did
not do any calibration and out of the box picture itself looked pretty good to me. I did reduce the
brightness a few notches, felt too bright otherwise.
The remote control does not have a back light, but as I said, the room is bright enough to see even in
A little ambient light does not wash the image. That's a strong positive for this projector.
I haven't tried the HD to its full extent yet, just tried playing movies using regular DVD player using RCA
and S-Video. Tried a few movies and power point presentation by playing via the VGA connectivity.
