ANTHEM JUMPS TO 146 ON FORTUNE 500
Anthem is very pleased to share some exciting
news, FORTUNE magazine recently released its
FORTUNE 500 list, and Anthem is ranked at
number 146. This is a jump of 38 places from last
year when we were 184 on the list.
While this improved ranking is significant, even
more exciting is how it reinforces Anthem’s
success in meeting our business objectives.
Because the FORTUNE 500 list measures the
business results of the largest companies in
America, our move up the list demonstrates
that we’re growing Anthem’s business,
improving our performance and strengthening
our position in the marketplace.
NEW ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN IS
On Monday, April 21, Anthem Southeast will be launching
its new advertising campaign with multi-media efforts
across Virginia. Through television, radio, and print, we
will continue to increase our brand awareness and
favorability with members and non-members alike by
positioning Anthem as the one to depend on. This year’s
advertising highlights two unique tools and services
provided by Anthem that help to improve the health care
and well being of our members. First is our new online
Hospital Comparison Tool that members can use to make
smarter decisions about hospitals and procedures.
Second is our community Saving Antibiotic Strength
program in elementary schools where we educate
parents, teachers and kids about the growing health
concern of antibiotic resistance.
The media schedule will run through the year with the
heaviest presence during our key open enrollment
periods. Coverage is throughout the state including
Bluefield, Bristol, Charlottesville, Danville, Harrisonburg,
Lynchburg, Martinsville, Norfolk, Northern Virginia,
