In a most unfavourable economic situation, all statistics
and prospects were easily exceeded in this year of jubilee:
sponsoring contribution, spectators present (more than
25,000), as well as the number of preleases from all over
Switzerland and from many European countries...
The recipe was:
A fair quantity of work and imagination;
A planning which gathers the biggest stars of Irish music;
An international recognition which places the Guinness
Irish Festival among the best European musical genres
A splendid site, reminding the Green Island;
And finally, a pinch of luck with time.
Result : 100% of success while giving strong feelings and
happiness to people; what a beautiful job!
And that is not all! The planning of the 16th edition, which
will take place on the 5th, 6th and 7th of August, 2010, is
almost finished. The two big stars who must still be found
