Cappola Joins Skjold - Barthel, P.A.Litigation

MINNEAPOLIS--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Skjold - Barthel today announced that Joseph M. Cappola has
joined its Minneapolis office. Cappola will practice in the firm’s Litigation Group, serving clients in securities
litigation, FINRA arbitrations, shareholder disputes and contract cases.
Previously, Cappola served as a Judicial Extern with the Minnesota Court of Appeals and clerked for the firm’s
Business and Litigation groups, assisting with a wide variety of matters ranging from securities fraud to franchise law.
Licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota, Cappola was sworn in on May 7, 2010.
Cappola earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School with a concentration in business law,
graduating magna cum laude and receiving the Dean’s Distinguished Scholarship award. He served as Managing
Editor of the Minnesota Journal of Law, Science and Technology, competed on the American College of Trial
Lawyers Mock Trial team, and received a Law School Public Service Program notation for law-related public
service work – including volunteer service with the Advocacy Center of New Orleans. Cappola also performed in A
Midsemester Night’s Dream, a production of the law school’s acclaimed Theatre of the Relatively Talentless
(T.O.R.T.).
