Dome Fest West will showcase
some of the Best Fulldome
films and Dome content from
around the world from 2021 to
2022.
To prepare the "exclusive looks" of the best
productions screened in planetariums, Dome theaters,
and science centers, Dome Fest West invites Dome
content creators from all over the world.
The program presents similarly themed
content in a 'block' format, allowing
viewers to view a variety of immersive
content in a variety of genres. This block
will be a group of 16 dome films,
depending on the length of each chunk
selected from the available content.
By highlighting this new technology
through demonstrations and panels,
Dome Fest West will also focus on the
next generation of Immersive Dome
technology and production
equipment, which will be available to
content creators just starting in space.
The Goal of Dome Fest West
The goal of Dome Fest West is to help introduce Immersive Dome
content further into the greater media landscape, popularizing
content creators and technologies from around the Immersive
Dome and Fulldome world.
In partnership with IMERSA, Dome Fest West will feature Dome
Fest West screenings, technical presentations, industry panels,
exclusive parties, and interactive workshops. This exciting
weekend will allow watching cutting-edge events and programs,
learning from the entertainment industry's best producers, and
ultimately taking Dome's immersive content to the next level.
The 2022 Dome Fest West Film Festival will
