Our current goal for sustainability and safety is as follows;
Sustainability
- Reduction of CO2 emission by 80,000 tons (5% of the 2006 level) in
2012.
Safety
- Reduction of number of accidents by 10% of the previous year
in 2008.

1. Regulatory Context Review
Every large transportation company is obliged to establish its
emission reduction policy by the Act on the Rational Use of Energy.
In compliance with this obligation, we established our reduction
policy in 2007 in which we set the quantitative goal for reduction.
OUR GOAL: Reduction of CO2 emission by 80,000 tons
(5% of the 2006 level) in 2012.

2. Main Issues for Fleet Management
Total amount of CO2 emitted from our company is 1.7million
tons in 2006.
• Transportation sector accounts for 30% of the total.
• To achieve our goal, first priority of our strategy is to
introduce eco-cars, such as EV and hybrid.
