Logo Clear Space
Clear space gives the Box logo room to
breathe and ensures that it won’t be obscured
by neighboring elements or typography.
The minimum clear that you should allow
around the logo is equal to X. X is equal to 75% of
the height of the “x” in the Box logo.
Minimum Logo Size
Please do not resize the box logo significantly. The
logo shown to the right is 0.5” or 36 pixels wide
and is the smallest size allowed for general use.
Logotype Coloration
The examples shown here demonstrate the correct
coloration of the Box logotype.
The preferred coloration of the Box logotype is RGB
34-122-180 blue on a white background. The second
option is to use the white gradient logo on a RGB
34-122-180 Blue Background and is usually reserved
for Box web applications. When Blue is not an
option either use a white Box logo on black or
the reverse.

Unacceptable uses of
the Box Logotype
The Box logo is a representation of the company
and a symbol for innovation and growth. Preserv-
ing this identity requires using the logo consistent-
ly, according to the logo guidelines.
• Do not alter the logo in any way.
• Do not outline the logo.
• Do not substitute colors.
• Do not use the logo as a repeated pattern, such as
in a background or border pattern.
• Do not translate the logotype — it must appear
in English.
• Do not reproduce the logo with any method (such
as embroidery at small sizes) that cannot hold the
true shape of the letter forms.
