Annandale High School Choral Boosters
The musical culmination of the German Choral Exchange Program will be the Fall Choral Concert
on Wednesday, October 29 at 7:30PM. The AHS choirs and the choir from Dietrich Bonhoffer
Gymnasium will combine to perform English composer John Rutter’s Gloria, an exciting three-
movement choral work supported by brass, organ, and percussion. Also the Annandale Singers will
join the DBG choir in a performance of Felix Mendelssohn’s Hoer Mein Bitten (Hear My Prayer).
The program will open with separate selections sung by the DBG choir and also by each of the AHS
advanced choirs. The concert will be professionally recorded and a reception will follow the concert.
Please feel free to reproduce the concert flier and post or distribute in the community. The
performance will take place at the Cornerstone Evangelical Church, 3901 Gallows Road in
Annandale. There is a sizable parking lot around the sanctuary accessible from Gallows and from
Longstreet Court, which is the first left from Oliver Avenue, the nearest side street from Gallows.
Parking in the adjacent neighborhood as well as on Gallows Road are also good options. Please feel
free to reproduce the concert flier and post or distribute in the community.
Suggested donation for the concert: $5. You will be able to order CDs at the concert, so bring your
holiday shopping list and checkbook.
Volunteers are needed to support this wonderful musical offering in the following ways:
