Dear Friends of St. Joseph School,
Welcome to the 11
Annual St. Joseph Blue & Gold Gala "Home at Last!" This year we have brought the Gala home
to St. Joseph Parish and School. We believe "Home at Last" is an appropriate title for our Gala in that St. Joseph does
feel like home - one great extended family. The Word of Jesus is alive here in each child, teacher, parent, and parish-
ioner. Christ's message of love is lived out in our actions and words to each other most all the time. There is a sense
that you are cared for here. Thank you for making St. Joseph a truly "Christ-centered" place. Your support, involvement
in the school's activities, and generosity in helping whenever we need a hand has been inspiring to witness. St. Joseph
school parents, relatives, and friends continue to give to the school in whatever capacity they can. As Blessed Mother
Teresa says, "Love does not measure, it just gives." This is truly witnessed here at St. Joseph Parish and School.
Tonight we thank our Gala chair, Sara Anderson and her committee. Their creativity, their commitment, and their posi-
tive outlook have provided us with a night to remember! We are all grateful for Sara and her committee for their dedica-
tion and behind the scenes work preparing for our 2009 Gala.
Finally, we want to thank you, our much-loved supporters of St. Joseph School. Your commitment to Catholic Education
and generosity in your financial support is a witness to the love God has for each and every child. The funds that we
raise this evening provide for a quality education, spiritually and academically, for the students here at St. Joseph
School. We are able to continue to upgrade technology, to purchase classroom supplies for special projects, and con-
tinue to enrich the curriculum in all areas thus enhancing the education of each child. Tuition assistance also provides
