RALEIGH, N.C.--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--Emergency Technologies, Inc. (ETI) has been selected by the
eighth largest US city, The City of Dallas, Texas to provide a Fire Records Management System (Fire RMS). ETI,
together with Unisys Corporation, will implement ETI’s Visual Fire, a public safety software solution, for the City of
Dallas. The initial phase of this deployment will include implementing the following modules of the Visual Fire suite:
the National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS), Pre-Plan and the Fire Inspections modules. Visual Fire will
integrate into the existing TriTech Software System’s Computer-Aided-Dispatch (CAD) system.
ETI’s Visual Fire solution will support the City in its efforts to implement an integrated public safety information
system that is compliant with State and Federal reporting standards. It will also allow the City to transition from older
legacy systems to modern technology that will increase operational efficiency throughout the agency.
“We are honored that Dallas has chosen the ETI & Unisys Team to deploy the Visual Fire solution.” said Kyle
Breischaft, President and CEO of Emergency Technologies, Inc. He continues, “This further demonstrates ETI’s
commitment to producing and implementing proven solutions that saves time, improves safety of emergency
personnel and streamlines tasks for fire departments.”
Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) is comprised of approximately 2,000 personnel and operates out of 55 fire stations. DFR
provides fire suppression and protection, emergency rescue capabilities, and emergency medical first responder
services to over 1.2 million citizens with a service coverage area of nearly 385 square miles. DFR responds to
approximately 100,000 emergency calls for services per year.
