Expands Practice to Meet Growing Needs
Jane K. McCahill brings 30 years of health care law experience to the firm and is
recognized as one of the top women business lawyers in Illinois.
Chicago, Illinois (February 9, 2009) Polsinelli Shughart PC announced today that
attorney Jane McCahill has joined the firm’s growing, national Health Care Practice, as a
shareholder, in the firm’s Chicago office. McCahill adds additional experience in
healthcare regulatory and reimbursement issues as the firm strives to meet the needs of its

The firm is ranked in the Top 100 law firms, based on the number of attorneys, according
to The National Law Journal. And, its health care practice has 35 health care attorneys
across the country. Polsinelli Shughart is the result of the merger between Polsinelli
Shalton Flanigan Suelthaus PC and Shughart Thomson & Kilroy, P.C. The combined
firms now have more than 480 attorneys, 25 of them in Chicago.
“The addition of Jane is part of a steady growth pattern we have in the Chicago
office,”said Managing Director/Chicago Anthony J. Nasharr. “Jane’s extensive
