OPERATION
Loading Magazine
The magazine is loaded by inserting the cartridge in the
magazine and pressing it under the lip with the thumb.
Inserting and removing magazine
Always put the Cetme safety lever in “S” (safe) mode.
Insert the magazine into the magazine well from below until
the magazine catch engages. Remove the magazine by
pressing the magazine release button.
Safety selector
The left side of the grip assembly has a “S” (safe) and “F”
(fire) safety lever. The safety position can also be seen on
the right side of the grip assembly.
Always keep your Cetme in the “S” (safe) mode by setting
the safety lever to “S”. The trigger can not be pulled while it
is on safe. Never point your rifle at anyone even when it is
on safe. To fire your rifle, move the safety lever to the “F”
(fire) position and squeeze the trigger. Always be sure of
your target and the area beyond it.
Loading
Put your Cetme in the “F” (fire) mode position. Pull the
cocking lever rearward and up, this engages it in the recess
of the cocking lever housing. Place selector on “S” (safe)
and insert the loaded magazine and allow the cocking lever
to slide forward. The rifle is now loaded. (Note: In order to
cock the Cetme rifle the rifle must be off safe.)
Cleaning
Put your Cetme rifle in the “S” (safe) mode. Remove the
magazine and unload the chamber. Pull the cocking lever
