1.
Notes from the April 14, 2005 meeting were distributed for comment and corrections. Members were asked
to note item 7 regarding Honors in third and fourth year. Minutes from CC3/4 meetings indicated that there
had been discussion and approval for limiting awarding of Honors to approximately 25 % of the class.
Co chairs were asked to convey this at the upcoming CC3/4 meeting and to remind the CDs of the rationale
for developing this policy.
2.
Course Annual Reports and Reviews (Dr. McCartney) All CDs were asked to complete a modified version
of the LCME Required Clerkship Form (RCF), referred hereafter as the Annual Course Report. As
discussed at the April 14 CMPC meeting, OED will complete a portion of the report form with the
information they already have for each course, then distribute it electronically to the individual
course/clerkship directors. Then each CD will be responsible to ensure that the information OED provides is
correct. Specific questions addressing the shortfalls that LCME identified are attached for each CD to
complete. The Annual Course Report Forms will be central to the annual course reviews which will be
conducted with the CD, CC co chair(s) and a representative of OED.
