What happens in Vegas…sometimes leaves Vegas! The icon that is Celine Dion hits the
road with her Taking Chances World Tour and enters the Wachovia Center on Friday,
September 5th at 8:00pm. On December 15, 2007, the final curtain rose and fell on
Celine Dion’s record-breaking engagement of A NEW DAY at Caesars Palace, Las
Vegas. Following a remarkable journey of five consecutive years of sold-out
performances, playing to nearly three million people, Celine will embark on yet another
spectacular live concert event. September 5, 2008 will mark only the second time Celine
has performed at the Wachovia Complex and first time since August of 1998. The 45-day
North American leg of the tour will feature Celine’s biggest hits, along with songs from her
new English album Taking Chances. The show, directed by Jamie King will accompany
Celine’s performances with a visual feast of color, fashion, dance, and surprise!
Throughout her career Celine has been honored with over 1000 Awards, including
Grammys, Oscars, Golden Globes, World Music, Juno, and Felix Awards. She is the
biggest-selling female artist of all time.
