ANNOUNCEMENT OF CLASSIFIED OPENING
Work Year & Hours:
12 months per year / 40 Hours per week / 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Work schedule subject to change during Summer months
Salary & Benefits:
Classified Salary Schedule - Range 27 - 100%
Initial step placement, up to step 3, will be determined by verifiable years of related experience and other
appropriate considerations. Step increase will occur annually on anniversary date until maximum step is
reached (step 5).
District contributes $5570.30 per year towards Medical, Dental, Vision and Life

Under the direction of the Accounting Supervisor, perform a variety of responsible clerical accounting duties related to
District accounts payable functions; prepare and process for payment a variety of financial, statistical, accounting and
purchasing documents, records and materials; perform a variety of responsible clerical record-keeping duties.
Education and Experience
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by course work in accounting or
bookkeeping and a minimum of two years of clerical accounting experience preferably in accounts payable and
maintaining automated financial and statistical records. Experience in school district accounting is desirable.
Knowledge and Abilities
Knowledge of: methods, procedures and terminology used in clerical accounting work involving accounts payable;
accounting practices and procedures; financial, fiscal and statistical record-keeping techniques and principles; laws,
rules and regulations related to assigned activities; District organization, operations, policies and objectives; modern
office practices, procedures and eq
