By IBPA Chocolate Mousse A mousse is a prepared food that incorporates air bubbles to give it a light and airy texture. It can range from light and fluffy to creamy and thick, depending on preparation techniques. A mousse may be sweet or savoury. Dessert mousses are typically made with whipped egg whites or whipped cream, and generally flavoured with chocolate or pured fruit. S. No Ingredients Quantity Unit 1 Melt Dark Chocolate 150 Gm 2 Butter 56 Gm 3 Egg Yolk 1 No 4 Sugar 20 Gm 5 Egg White 1 Gm 6 Sugar 16 Gm 7 Whipped Cream 120 Gm 8 Gelatine 05 Gm 9 Water 20 Ml Method: Dissolve the gelatine and keep aside. Melt chocolate and add butter stir till butter melts completely. Add egg yolks & mix well. Add dissolved gelatine & mix well. Fold whipped cream into the chocolate mixture. Beat the egg whites and sugar well till soft peak and fold into the chocolate mixture. Pour the mixture into molds &set in the refrigerator for about at least 3 hours.
