The 2005 Norway documentaryÂ Â "Eit meiningsfylt liv i ein lam kropp -Â Ã… leve med Amyotrofisk lateral sklerose (ALS)" /Â Â "A meaningful life in a paralytic body -Â Living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)" has been produced by Lillehammer University College, and is the result of the teamwork of Per Villand (1963-2007) andÂ those who were next to him after he was diagnosed withÂ Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis: nurses, doctors, therapists, family and friends.
The documentary is a contribution the the research of this seriousÂ disease andÂ creates awareness about the vulnerable position of people with disabilities in the society. The documentaryÂ is categorized as educational literature, visual education for people with disabilities, for professionals in healthcare, but also for the family and friends around people with disabilities.
