Abstract
Two patients suffered severe cardiac complications while jogging in organized exercise programs. An acute
inferior myocardial infarction developed in one, while the other had a cardiac arrest. Complication-prone,
middle-aged candidates for exercise programs might be discovered with more complete medical screening,
and thereby be more closely supervised in their activity.
