Introduction
Knowledge can be defined as the realization or familiarity and alertness gained by learning or
occurrence of incident (Johnson, Scholes, & Whittington, 2005). More than that deriving this to
further for organization knowledge is anthological and common practice gathered through
routine, systems and activities of distributing across the enterprise (Johnson, Scholes, &
Whittington, 2005). Peter Drucker and other have claimed organization growth as ‘Knowledge
Based Economy’.
Knowledge: An Organization Resource
Knowledge is progressively more related as the important resource of organization and financial
activity so that individual won't distribute knowledge with others (Jang & Choi, 2004). What are
the possible ways to share the knowledge with others? In Korea several organizations install
information technology, especially database, groupware and mostly computer-related
technologies, to circulate knowledge in firm (Jang & Choi, 2004). However such efforts are
seems to be required lot of organization practices. The concept of gaining strategic capabilities of
achieving knowledge management within organization linked with tangible resources and
dynamic capabilities. These all are the evidence for being tangible knowledge of organization
(Johnson, Scholes, & Whittington, 2005).
Developing and sharing information because it seems to be mutually beneficial
(Johnson, Scholes, & Whittington, 2005). This can be possible with new edge
information technologies such as internet and knowledge database and that process
relies on ‘community of common interest’.
