Letter From The AquaSox
In 2009 the AquaSox made a conscious decision to expand our
community outreach and efforts. With the introduction of the Swing
for Kids ticket donation program as well as the AquaSox
Community Fund and several new fundraising endeavors,
thousands of local youth and their families were able to attend an
AquaSox game, and hundreds of local non-profit organizations
were supported.
The AquaSox players, coaches and front office staff are dedicated
to making a positive impact in our local communities. Minor
League Baseball and 7th Inning Stretch make community
involvement a top priority, and our fans, players, corporate
sponsors and staff are all quick to step up to the plate to improve
the quality of life for our neighbors. I am proud of our team for their
more than 150 volunteer hours in the 2009 season, lending
support to many deserving programs.
The AquaSox want to thank everyone throughout Snohomish,
King, Island and Skagit counties who has been a part of our
outreach efforts, and we hope you will continue to join us in
support of the AquaSox Community Fund and our community
relations initiatives.
Sincerely,
Tom Backemeyer
