Scholastic Book Fair
March 25th, Wednesday!
12:30-5:00 P.M.
Chandler School Lobby
Stop by the Spring Book Fair, one day only, in the
Chandler Lobby. Sponsored by PTA, this is a
great opportunity to choose some excellent
reading for April vacation and these long days of
Spring. Our library will receive many free books
from Scholastic as a result of this sale. For further
information, call Sheila Gambino, Mollie O'Hara
or Genny Reynolds. Thanks in advance for your
contribution, and a big thank you to the PTA!
NEWS FROM THE HEALTH OFFICE
Cases of conjunctivitis or pink eye are on the rise!
Please call your pediatrician and do not send your
child to school if they say their eyes are itchy or
burning with the white part of the eye pink,
eyelashes are crusty and stuck together, or you see
white or yellow drainage in the lower lid or corner
of one or both eyes. The doctor may prescribe an
antibiotic eye medicine; in some cases this is done
without an office visit. In order to avoid
transmission to others, your child must be on the
medication for 24 hours. Thanks for helping us
stop the spread of conjunctivitis!
