To Help You Become The Greatest
Coach You Can Be, MCC Coaches
Will Provide ICF Mentor Coaching
For those looking to pursue a career as a life coach or simply
to improve as a coach and acquire the competency abilities to
coach their clients more effectively, the International
Coaching Federation (ICF) offers three levels of coaching
credentials. These three ICF certifications levels are:
ACC (Associate Certified Coach)
PCC (Professional Certified Coach), and
MCC (Master Certified Coach)
The ICF offers these three levels of coaching qualifications
through the Portfolio and ACSTH pathways. However, in
addition to the required number of coaching hours and other
requirements for each level, all three credential levels now
include a 10-hour ICF mentor coaching requirement. For
ACC or PCC, for instance, only a coach with the requisite
coaching experience and the same certification level or higher
may conduct ICF mentor coaching. In a similar vein, only
PCC coaches who have finished 200 hours of prerequisite
coursework and 2,500 hours of client coaching experience are
eligible to apply for the MCC credential. Additionally, only
an MCC-certified coach with appropriate expertise may
provide ICF mentor coaching to the applicant.
