TRAINING
In this fast-paced three-day hands-on course you will learn the application-oriented networking (AON) development
environment and its extensibility platform: the adapter development kit and bladelet development kit. You will learn how
to extend your AON environment for the organization you support by building custom bladelets and custom adapters.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This course is intended for technical professionals tasked with building custom bladelets and adapters.
OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to perform the following tasks:
• Describe the scenarios and context where development activity is needed for AON
• Use the Bladelet Development Kit (BDK) for creating custom bladelets and deploy them to AON
• Use the Adapter Development Kit (ADK) for creating custom adapters
• Characterize and use the best practices for AON development
COURSE PREREQUISITES

• Basic AON Solution Awareness
• AON Product Essentials
• General knowledge of Java programming, Extensible
Markup Language (XML), and middleware principles
and practices
• Experience with Eclipse Integrated Drive Electronics
