CHICAGO--(EON: Enhanced Online News)--CohesiveFT (http://www.cohesiveft.com), the leader in on-boarding
solutions for virtual and cloud computing infrastructures, announces the availability of CohesiveFT's VPN-Cubed,
customer-controlled cloud security offering, in the vCloud Express Environment offered by Terremark Worldwide
(NASDAQ:TMRK), a leading global provider of IT infrastructure services. Enterprises looking to extend compute
capacity past their own data centers can now use the Terremark vCloud Express and VPN-Cubed to create a
seamless and secure overlay network between their data center and their cloud-based assets. The VPN-Cubed
overlay network provides four key capabilities public cloud users currently cannot control: custom static addressing
for the user's cloud devices; topology control by using VPN-Cubed managers as virtual routers; use of popular
enterprise protocols like UDP Multicast for service discovery; and lastly encrypted communications between all
devices on the overlay network.
“Terremark's vCloud Express Environment allows for quick and simple deployment of your cloud servers and
application assets into a VMware-based public cloud, similar to how you manage your private cloud assets in
VMware vSphere” said Patrick Kerpan, Founder and CTO of CohesiveFT. “VPN-Cubed provides Terremark
customers with similar value providing quick and secure extension of the network layer to the cloud, think of it as a
user-controlled network that you deploy with your cloud-based servers and applications."
“By working with development partners like CohesiveFT, Terremark is able to offer superior value to our vCloud
Express users by layering additional options on top of our core offering," said Tony Savoy, Director, Product
Management, Terremark. "
