CompTIA Announces Board of Directors for 2010
InFocus CEO Bob O’Malley begins second year as chairman; senior executives from HP and
Synnex Corp. join board of leading IT industry association
Oakbrook Terrace, IL (Vocus) January 18, 2010 -- CompTIA, the leading trade association for the world’s
information technology (IT) industry, today announced its Board of Directors for 2010.
Bob O’Malley, chief executive officer of InFocus® Corporation, Portland, Ore., the industry pioneer in digital
projection technology, will serve as chairman of the CompTIA Board of Directors for the second consecutive
year.
CompTIA also welcomes two new members to its board in 2010.
Mike Parrotino is vice president, Personal Systems Group Sales and Management, Solution Partners
Organization -- Americas, Hewlett-Packard Company, Palo Alto, Calif., the world’s largest technology company
with a portfolio that spans printing, personal computing, software, services and IT infrastructure. Parrotino leads a
team responsible for executing HP’s overall PSG go-to-market strategy for partner programs, partner
development, training and communications.
Robert Stegner is senior vice president, marketing, North America, SYNNEX Corporation, Fremont, Calif., a
leading business process services company, servicing resellers and original equipment manufacturers in regions
around the world. Stegner is responsible for all company marketing efforts in the United States and Canada.
