Liquid, aerosols and vapours may be irritating and can cause pain,
tearing, reddening and swelling accompanied by stinging and/or a
feeling like that of fine dust in the eyes.
May cause irritation. Allergic reactions are possible. Methanol can be
absorbed through the skin causing effects as per ingestion.

Causes nausea, headache, visual disturbances ranging from double
vision to blindness, may result in central nervous system depression or
death. Effects may delayed up to 12 hours after ingestion. Chronic
overexposure may cause kidney and liver damage.
Prolonged inhalation may be harmful and can cause headaches,
dizziness, nausea, lachrymation, decreased blood pressue, changes in
heart rate and cyanosis. May be irritating to mucous membranes and
lung tissue. Inhalation of methanol may cause blindness.
