Current Scope of Practice
Mr. Meaders’ litigation practice focuses on products liability defense and commercial litigation, including note
and debt collection litigation, replevy actions, writs of execution, general contract disputes, and employment
disputes. Within his litigation practice he has represented manufacturers of automobiles, medical devices,
electrical appliances, home products and disposable lighters. He also counsels a variety of manufacturing and
other clients on issues related to climate change and environmental regulations.
Mr. Meaders has won several defense verdicts for product liability jury trials, has extensive experience
handling trial and appellate experience in state courts, federal courts and before the United States Supreme
Court. He also has represented clients on local, regional, national and Multi-District Litigation basis with
first chair trial experience in Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama.
