Applied Trust Commits to Major Sponsorship for Humane Societ
07.17.2009 – Boulder, Colo. - Applied Trust has stepped up as a major sponsor for
the 20th Annual Humane Society of Boulder Valley Walk-A-Thon. The event will be
held at the Boulder shelter on Sept. 12.
This event includes a 4K Doggie Dash and 3K Walk-a-Thon, as well as a Pet Expo,
agility fun trials, catered breakfast and live music from a Flock of Beagles.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. at 2323 55th Street in Boulder (near the Humane
Society), the Doggie Dash begins at 8:30 a.m. and the walk begins at 8:45 a.m.
This sponsorship is part of Applied Trust's commitment to giving back to the greater
Colorado community. Applied Trust is a member of Boulder County's "Culture of
Giving" initiative, a joint effort of The Community Foundation and other Boulder
businesses, in which Applied Trust has committed to giving two percent or more of
pre-tax profits annually to nonprofits. In addition to Applied Trust's continued work
