FALL FESTIVAL
Ann Elliott
It is that time once again for the
most popular event for kids
sponsored by the Chico Friends
of the Library, the Chico Library
Fall Festival. The festivities will
take place Saturday, October 11,
from 11 AM to 2 PM, Library
lawn & Community Room.
Kids! Buy or trade a book at our
book swap. Tour the reading
coach with Butte County
Literacy. Look at how an
emergency vehicle works. Play
games. Listen to music. Talk to
an author about writing and an
artist about illustrating a book
and what it takes to publish one.
Come for story time, tall tales
and a host of other events to
catch your interest. Once again
Papa Murphy’s will provide low
cost pizza for lunch.
The Fall Festival is a community
event with booths created by
Girl Scout Troops, the National
Charity League, Chico Mothers
Club, and high school volunteer
organizations, which are always
worth a visit. Call if you or your
organization would like to help
with a booth.
Make this event your autumn
highlight this year. It is truly fun
for the entire family.
Join us for free fun. For more
