The New Jersey Judiciary is seeking an experienced attorney with excellent legal and interpersonal skills to supervise staff
attorneys in the Supreme Court Clerk’s Office. Under the general supervision of the Clerk and Deputy Clerk, this person will
assign tasks and set priorities for staff attorneys and also will: assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures
regarding the Supreme Court’s consideration and disposition of case-related and attorney and judicial disciplinary matters; review
and prepare memoranda to the Court on complex motions and disciplinary matters; and be responsible for the scheduling and
processing of emergent applications to the Court. In addition, this person will develop and implement strategies to ensure accurate
and timely responses to inquiries from attorneys and members of the public regarding the application of Court Rules on appellate
practice and disciplinary matters. This person will oversee and review the legal content and coordinate the postings of Supreme
Court activities on the Judiciary website and elsewhere, and will undertake such other assignments as directed by the Clerk and
EDUCATION: Graduation from an American Bar Association approved law school.
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of professional administrative and/or program management experience, which shall have included
responsibility for program development and/or implementation and the achievement program goals.
NOTE: Upon appointment to the Court Executive 2A title, the appointee will complete the Management Leadership
