Do you strive for your home to be a place of comfort, style, and beauty yet still
want it to look lived in? It is possible to accomplish this in an effective manner
simply by implementing your own sense of style. So how does one effectively
celebrate the home? The answer is by adorning each wall and room with artwork,
pottery, sconces and more. For example, if the living room is the artistic niche,
arranging framed art along the walls or in groups will make for great conversation
pieces. Additionally, wall paintings tend to stimulate the mind.
Perhaps you have dreamed of escaping to a faraway place where you can take a
leisurely stroll along floral lined sidewalks. You turned your head to admire
beautiful trailing plants sitting on their bleached stone walls. Why not place some
wall art paintings in clear view that represent this dream of yours? Perhaps your
daughter is learning to dance. In that case, a painting of a young ballerina assisting
her sister in putting on her ballet shoes will appeal to her. Other wall art paintings,
especially for a boys room is art depicting the face of a tiger as he lies in the sun
enjoying the coolness of the soft grass.
To celebrate other areas of the home, be sure to add pottery because it always
looks so natural. Perhaps you would prefer to adorn your entryway and hallway.
Items to hang there could be a pair of elegant sconces made of glass, placed on
either side of the hallway walls. Reading areas are becoming more popular than
ever. To make them more enchanting, why not install a sconce that has a frosted
glass cover? Where children are present, crystal sconces made of resin will last for
many years. Another novel idea is to position pottery pieces of all various shapes
and sizes on either side of the front door. These will provide the main focal point
for all who enter.
